Recently, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of technological innovation demonstration enterprises in Shandong Province in 2022. Sinotruk was successfully selected for its excellent technological innovation ability and outstanding achievement transformation ability.

Provincial technological innovation demonstration enterprises are selected based on the standards of core competitiveness, leading position, innovation ability, R & D investment, industry driving role, application of new technology ability and other standards, aiming to establish a number of leading enterprises with strong technological innovation ability, remarkable innovation performance and demonstration and leading role.

In recent years, relying on national innovation platforms such as the National Enterprise Technology Center and the National Heavy Duty Vehicle Engineering Technology Research Center, SINOTRUK insists on independent research and development, strengthens open cooperation, and actively integrates into the global scientific and technological innovation network. A number of major scientific and technological achievements have been made in the core technology fields of commercial vehicles such as interconnection technology, NVH key technology, lightweight, and key assembly systems. At present, it has more than 3,400 valid patents, including more than 300 invention patents. The number of patent applications and acceptances has increased year by year. More than 70 national and industry standards have been formulated, and 3 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award have been won.
