Three Items of Science & Technology Achievements from Sinotruk Group Passed the Provincial Evaluation

On the occasion of new year, Department of Science & Technology of Shandong Province organized and held “Sinotruk Group Science & Technology Achievement Evaluation Conference” in Jinan.After the efforts of our research group, research work on the project, the national science and technology support plan "the key technology and application of spare parts", the national high technology research and development program (863) project "natural gas engine research and development, Jinan City Science and technology development plan" intelligent China National Heavy duty truck gears on both manual and automatic shift system "has successfully completed projects, and successfully passed the expert appraisal in the evaluation meeting.

Experts from domestic famous universities such as Jilin University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Shandong University etc. highly approved the science & technology achievements obtained by Sinotruk Group.

Basing on the advanced technology of Sinotruk’s engine reproducing, the subject of “Key Technology and Application of Spare Parts & Components” launches research and striving on relative key technology and equipments by means of the cooperation among production, teaching & research and aiming at many aspects including the life test technology restricting the reproduction of wasted automotive spare parts and components, the all-in-one of the preparation and manufacturing of damaged spare parts & components, the rapid figuration and reproduction technology and the reproduction of original position during the operation of equipments etc, obtaining plentiful achievements. Integrated technology achieves the international advanced level, with many of the world's leading innovative technology, with significant economic and social benefits, for the development of China's auto parts industry has laid a solid technical foundation, and played a good role model.

Based on Sinotruk’s high-power CNG engine, the subject of “the R & D of CNG Engine” independently develops electronic control and air supply system, improving the combustion development technology of entire engine; develops CNG and LNG engines meeting State IV exhaust standards to satisfy the growing demand from domestic and overseas markets. The accomplishment of this subject provides technical support for the entirely improvement of independent development capacity and core competitive capacity of domestic high-power CNG engine and heavy duty truck equipped with high-power CNG engine, with the comprehensive technology reaching the advanced level within domestic engine of the same type.

Based on Sinotruk’s existing mechanic multi-shift transmission, “ Smart Shift-Sinotruk Integrative Manual-and-Automatic Shift System” adopts electronic control air selection shifting and clutch execution organization, realizing automatic selection shifting and clutch control through TCU Electronic Control Unit, and independently develops the first domestic heavy duty manual-and-automatic shift system realizing industrilization . It has the advantages of high transmission efficiency and good control of comfort, a wide range of torque range is good for the product, there is no feasible inheritance and the most simple equipment investment, product series. Integrated technology to achieve the same type of advanced level of domestic engine.

These three items of science & technology achievement passed this evaluation are part of science & technology achievements obtained by Sinotruk during the 11th Five-year Plan. By taking the means of national science and technology plan project, based on the key technology of object technology innovation team has been formed, the promotion of the capability of independent innovation of sinotruck have greatly improved, to further consolidate the sinotruck advanced position in the domestic heavy truck industry.
