So that SINOTRUK has a significant technology and market leadership. In 2002, SINOTRUK started to develop the gas engine. In 2005, SINOTRUK successfully developed a heavy-duty natural gas engines. In 2008, Chinese government put this project into “Chinese 863 Project”. After the cooperation with the German MAN company, SINOTRUK quickly began to develop natural gas engine using Man technology. In 2015, 5L,7L,11L,13L MAN natural gas engine will be available to the customers. Over the past decade, SINOTRUK gas engine has been more and more mature, can fully meet the heavy-duty truck demand. At present, SINOTRUK is capable of producing high-quality of gas type heavy tractor and dump truck, cement mixer truck, bus, etc. The outstanding performance of China's heavy truck natural gas vehicle power, economy and environmental protection and other aspects, Are recognised by the vast number of users and praise.

August 5 this year, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group and Kanas, Northern Automotive Holdings clean energy projects and LNG vehicles strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held at the handover sail Lan Ling County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. Thus, the strategic partnership between SINOTRUK and Kanas started, SINOTRUK will provide large quantities of liquefied natural gas vehicles, Kanas provide gas source. They will work together to support Shandong Province vehicle LNG clean energy development.
